I Voted

Today is my dad's election for district chairman in our area, so I bought out my new dress from F21 (: Once again here's the tribal/90's print trend coming in & they're kind of my favorites of the moment (if you haven't noticed...) Lovin' it. This weekend you'll get another post about my church and tomorrow my sissy comes home for the 1st time in just about a year!!! I've got to road-trip to pick her up so there will be plenty of pics to share (: Happy shopping, xoxo KG

Sick days

Today was a sick day, but I JUST threw myself together to get dinner and then work a little later. Here's my Tobi shirt, these chiffon shirts are super in & great for summer. They're flowy, so easy to throw on & make any outfit uber cute! These earrings were kind of a throwback for me, because my mom had some I used to wear in middle school but they were elephants. They've very 80s but I love them. Happy shopping, xoxo KG!

High of 85!

Today is GORGEOUS. No other word to describe it. We've had rain for the past 3 days so this is a great break! This is my new midi dress from F21, super cheap & they have 3 colors, go grab 'em! Also, my new Sam Edelman sandals...obsessed. Happy shopping, xoxo KG!

Everything that I could find online for yall is right here; Dress & sandals

Love Kate Spade quotes!

Here's the tote, but in a different color/phrase, they ran out of the "Eat Cake" one!

Comfy can still be chic

Today I'm not feeling so hot, but I've got to meet w/ a friend and babysit all day after...so I had to pull myself together. You already know Maxi's are my go-to, and why not? They're so comfy & cute! This dress is just the thing I needed for today, and you can still dress them up and make them super chic! My entire outfit today os from F21, happy shopping loves! Coxo KG!

Layering Maxis.

Here's another way of wearing crop-tops -- layering them over dresses! I have no idea why maxi dresses are popular in warmer weather (seems like it should be the opposite) but I love them! They're my summer go-tos (: and layering a cute crop-top over your favorite maxi makes for a whole new look! I searched for my sandals so that I could put a link up here for yall, but apparently they don't make them anymore? I searched DSW & Steve Madden and no one had them, which is a shame because they're the most comfortable ones I've ever owned! My dress is Nordstom Rack and of course my shirt is F21, happy shopping, xoxo KG!

Met Ball

The Met Ball is usually the event where celebs can get away with wearing crazy, more artsy outfits...but just because they can get away with a little more doesn't mean we'll let anything slide. Let's take a look at some of my favorites

The lovely Sofia in Marchesa *drooool*

Gisele in Givenchy, gorgeously fitted and structured

My favorite power couple Jessica Biel & Justin Timberlake in Prada & Tom Ford
(could she BE anymore perfect?)

Something about this DVF on Lea Michelle...it flows gorgeously on her & the color is FAB

I'm a sucker for the sheer long skirts with a mini underneath, just like Marion Cotillard in this Dior number

Every girl in her early 20's should look to Emma Roberts for inspration. This Escada dress is amaze.

Love this almost neon, structed Versace dress January is rocking.

{Now onto my not-so-favorites}

My dear, dear Emma Stone...you hit such a good streak last award season, but you look like a 4 year-old in this Lanvin dress. (And your hair ain't helping either)

Normally I wouldn't even waste my breath on Kristen Stewart because I cannnnnnot stand her, but this deserved some words. This Balenciaga dress is terrible. And so was your shoe choice.

Boots, Bangs & Baubles

I'm in love with all things nautical. Little anchor appliques, stripes, navy, red, you name it. These long, dripping jeweled, statement necklaces are all the rage. There are people on Etsy making their own versions of the JCrew necklace that started it all, but I opted for the cheaper version from H&M. I love my belts, but all of the ones I tried just had something a little off, so I took a navy ribbon belt from a shirt-dress I have! Now I'm a southern girl, my family's from Texas and I got to school in Alabama, so I LOVE my cowboy boots. I wear them with jeans, shorts and dresses...and they just add a little "umph" to any outfit. Little sassiness, little flirty, people know girls with boots on aren't to be messed with (; Happy shopping, xoxo KG

The dress is from Gap and the necklace can't be bought online, but I'll post some more options below!

Floral & Lace

I think it's obvious I've become obsessed with that lace crop-top I posted last week. I told yall I bought two, and here's the black one. I think this top makes any outfit instantly chic, I get loads of compliments whenever I wear it and girls tell me they're envious of my style. This top just adds a little something, and since high-waisted skirts are kind of my signature look...it's perfect! Happy shopping, xoxo KG! Here's the top again and I can't find my skirt online, but here's another option!

Vintage & Cut-outs

In case you haven't noticed, high-waisted jean shorts are coming back into style. Now I'm a curvy girl, but I'm not gonna shy away from some styles I want to try just because of that! Loving this new top I literally just got in the mail from Tobi (I can't find it online anymore) and my shorts are from Urban Outfitters! UO has tons of vintage Levi's that they've cut to make high-waisted shorts, I've been on the hunt for a good pair, and if you are too UO's the place to go! Happy Shopping, xoxo KG!

White House Correspondents Dinner.

Let's talk celebs. I'm probably the biggest follower of all celeb news, I love to know the latest, be in on what's going on, who's wearing who, and who's dating who. Now every year DC has a fantastic celeb filled event called the White House Correspondents Dinner and everyone who's anyone is always there. This year I was less than thrilled with most of the outfits that I saw, so let's take a peek. These are listed in order from least favorite to best dressed (for me).

LiLo could've worked on the tailoring a little bit better...

I'm thinking that much boob isn't really apporpriate for the WH Rosario...

Poor Ginny's getting swallowed by this eco-friendly H&M gown (nice effort...)

Zooey, you know I love you & your quirkiness, but have we never heard of hemming a dress?

Lovely Reese in her baby-bump friendly number

Hot mama Sofia can do no wrong in my eyes, she always looks flawless

Fashion forward Eva looking sleek with her black pumps, also opted for a shorter dress

Miss Effie continues with her stunning gown choices, she's done no wrong since all the Hunger Games premieres!

And my best-dressed for the night, Kate Hudson! This is what movie starts should look like.
